Forest management

Forests managed by the joint-stock company

The company manages 834 hectares of forest land under a lease contract. It deals with every aspect of forest management, from propagating material management to timber harvesting. We have our own nursery, in which we grow young trees of other leafy tree species as well as vegetatively propagated Robinia and willows.

We have a cooperation agreement with the Forestry Science Institute (ERTI) of the University of Sopron under which we conduct research. We monitor the results in the experimental areas determined with candidate varieties in the plantations established for this purpose. Our goal is to find varieties and candidate varieties that would grow well in the conditions that prevail the region and will be resistant to climate change. We also work on developing the cultivation systems related to these varieties.

Forests managed by the joint-stock company

Of course, in addition to the research activity, managing the forests that are already standing, enhancing their value, and maximizing benefit for the owners is what we do on a day-to-day basis. The ownership structure of private forests, the characteristics of undivided common property, applications related to management, and forest planting all require thorough professional preparation, for which our team of specialists is available. Our engineers, classified as authorized forestry professionals, are always learning new things, participating in professional events, and broadening their horizons. This guarantees that we can face the challenges of today.

This includes professional management and planning activities related to forestry, as well as official administration, preparation and coordination of forestry tenders. We can help private forest owners plan and implement their plans and meet their obligations related to their ownership of forest land. We are a registered forestry management company.

Timber trade

Timber from sustainable forest management represents a significant economic value. Wood is an indispensable source of renewable energy and raw materials. The timber trade creates jobs in Hungary and provides tax revenue. Sustainable timber felling and trade also serves the public good, protects the environment, and slows down climate change.

If you have forest land that could be used for felling, whether you want to sell the standing timber or the land itself, contact us for a fair offer based on market prices. Of course, we can also provide offers for younger forests, or propose a solution for the further operation if you have inherited the land.
